Ecology & hunting notes
Ecology
The apex monster of the forests, also known as the "King of the Skies." Terrible wyverns that descend upon invaders, attacking with poison claws and fiery breath
Hunting notes
Since they circle overhead unleashing various attacks, it's best to use Flash Pods to blind them and force them back to the ground. Destroying their wings seems to create an opening when they attempt to take flight.

Area mention
Mistwood
The forests of Mistwood have been devastated by Rathalos's flames. Known for its violent nature, this time its fire is even more destructive than before. It's likely been affected by Radiantite. If left unchecked, it could become a serious threat. Please put an end to its rampage!
Golden Expanse
Your squad successfully hunts the Rathalos. You speculate that the Rathalos and the Rathian hadn't mutated into radiant monsters because they were guarding their hatching egg. Everyone laments the drastic ecological changes and decides to research further upon returning to the village. For now, you continue your advance toward the center of the Golden Expanse.
