Great Girros — MHO Monster Research
Read available Great Girros research in Monster Hunter Outlanders (MHO), including sourced ecology notes and separately labelled material candidates.

Ecology & hunting notes
Ecology
Monsters that drag Girros around while searching for carrion left behind by other monsters. Their large fangs contain paralyzing venom used to finish off prey
Hunting notes
They are known to hunt in packs alongside Girros, so when hunting them, focus on slaying or staggering the Girros first to remove the threat while dealing with the main target. Breaking their fangs will also weaken the effects of their paralytic venom.

Area mention
Muddy Swamp
The Muddy Swamp has a rather... peculiar environment. Peculiar enough to be almost unpleasant, really. So a Great Girros showing up there isn't entirely surprising... but something about it still doesn't sit right with me. I've never encountered a situation quite like this anywhere else. I'd like to go investigate. The area where the Great Girros has been spotted is dangerous—could you come with me?
